During my tenures of 3 years, I come to know that more than 85% items of this industry are not manufactured in India, we import from China and sell here.
After 77 years of Independence, still no company in India is manufacturing even a single tool like Fiber Stripper, Cleaver, VFL, Power meter, Splicing machine, OTDR and so on. Although the price for these items ranges from 100-100000 INR.
The Demand of these tools in India is huge as it is must for every single person who is in this industry.
According to a data Still only 35% mobile tower is connected through fiber till date. And in addition to new towers the maintenance work is an ongoing process.
So here is a huge gap as well as market for tools and other products without which the fiber industry cannot grow and as per experts coming age is of OPTICAL FIBER.
