Glibzter Immersive - English Vocabulary Builder is a web browser extension that can be installed on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on laptops and desktop PCs. It helps in curating in real-time, relevant English words and phrases from the news articles you read online and the OTT videos you stream with English subtitles/ closed captions; to present them for AI-powered contextual practice and tests on a web app.
We aim to make it the most immersive, systematic, engaging, and the fastest way for students and young working professionals to build and expand their English vocabulary along with the confidence needed to contextually apply words and phrases.
The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is presently engineered to work on OTT streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube, and online news portals such as BBC, CNN, MSN, The Times of India and Scroll.in.

Tell us a bit about how founding team knows
each other.
Ruchi was Varun's senior in college (Symbiosis Pune), where Varun was associated with English drama and Ruchi focused on modelling. Varun and Himanshu bond over dramatics (nukkad natak), and were introduced through a mutual acquaintance / ex-colleague via Y combinator Co-founder search.
Why did you decide to start this
company?
Glibzter is our 'therapy'. We founders realize we too had shortcomings related to our personalities that were self-limiting which need to be worked on. Learning through imparting is our way to do so.
