Product Description

Currently, the process to publish & convert a book to screen is scattered and inefficient because there are too many players in the market and no one is providing an end-to-end solution to the writers. We started Inkfeathers to offer a transparent and growth-focused platform where writers can publish and adapt their books to screen. We are offering 3 essential services including Hybrid Book Publishing, Book-to-screen Adaptation and Education (also book sales).

Tell us a bit about how founding team knows each other.

Sagar and Anush are second cousins and their friendship goes back a long time when they were just kids. They started this company in 2016 to offer event management solutions but later pivoted into a publishing company in 2020. The passion for writing in Sagar & a passion to create a business in Anush gave birth to Inkfeathers. In 2021, Uma joined as a marketing Intern, then became the head of publishing. She was recently promoted to the role of co-founder due to her exemplary contribution.

Why did you decide to start this company?

In 2017, we saw a trend of quick & affordable book publishing in India. It had many flaws like low transparency, low author profits, poor manufacturing & no content filtration. There were many fraud & fake publishers who were merely Instagram pages.

Are all the founders full-time on this project?

Yes
